During Hans Nadorp’s career as a conversation partner and independent entrepreneur, he spent decades in luxury hotels. Never a passive guest; quietly noticing what makes a stay remarkable. Now, he oversees every detail at Enon Heights – a single, considered place that embodies everything he and Liaan have learnt.
Together, they remain closely involved in every stay. Guests are welcomed by the people who rebuilt the property and continue to shape it every day.

The Evolution of Enon
Heights
Owners Hans and Liaan know exactly what a great stay should feel like. And they have built it on this hillside from the floor up. One property they could stand entirely behind.
Enon Heights is not a continuation of what stood here before. Three suites were removed. Spaces were rebuilt. A new name followed. The result is a property with a clearer purpose and a more personal approach to hospitality.
Owner operated and distinctly personal, Enon Heights is the result of decades of refining which details matter.
The Story of the
enon Rock Formation
There is a rock formation visible across Knysna that most people have seen without knowing its name. Warm, layered red against the hillside –compressed river stone, held together under two hundred million years of weight. This is the Enon Formation.
Shaped by ancient rivers that bore their weight down from the mountains into what is now the Knysna Basin, the Formation has been here since before the continent took its current shape.
Its rounded stones remain visible throughout the region today, exposed in hillsides, road cuttings and natural outcrops. It forms part of the landscape that defines this corner of the Garden Route and the ground beneath Enon Heights itself.
That thinking shaped more than the name. The formation beneath the property has held this corner of the coast together for longer than can quite be imagined. What stands above it is the work of two people who took their time to get it right.
